momcafe Mother's Day Event

On the day before Mother's Day, I attended this event, another great one by momcafe. Mimosas, appetizers, and strawberries with chocolate for dessert. A raffle and 50/50 draw with proceeds going to benefit a sick little boy (Evan Penny) and his family. And a few laughs over the joys and challenges of motherhood. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Oh, don't worry. I know I'm 5 days behind. Just add it to the long list of things that do not get done on time. We just re-intalled Photoshop Elements, so I can finally look at all my photos again! Here are a few I ran across while browsing through.

My focus lately has been on this Star Wars Birthday coming up. They will be 8 years old.

How have things changed?

A Star Wars cake is a little more complicated than a Blues Clues cake...

Their faces have definitely changed. And Darth has replaced Buzz...

But some things never change. They have asked for a pool just like the one they got back then...
