A Northern New Year List

Here, in no particular order, is a list of the things I have experienced during this trip to the North. Some good, some bad, some funny, some not so much. All part of a trip I'm glad I took and I'll never forget.

-I have seen my baby become friends with a dog.
-I have felt -44C air on my cheeks.
-I attended my niece's First Communion.
-I sat in a church where the Father was wearing snow pants under his robe. (I bet you can't say that.)
-I had a personal tour of an oil & gas plant. Very interesting.
-I heard the words "You are not flying home today."
-I watched the Flames kick the Oilers butts on New Year's Eve. :-)
-I went to sleep at 11:50pm on New Year's Eve. :-(
-I stayed up all night with my baby who didn't want to sleep.
-I've seen the Northern Lights streaking across the night sky.
-I have been the passenger in a vehicle driving on a road made of ice on a frozen river.
-I shot some great video of a place I am fortunate to have visited. (Video to be blogged later.)

Its been an amazing experience. Now, if only they'd let me leave!

The list was great, and even the not-so-great stuff sounded like it added to your Northern adventure. Looking forward to video and/or pictures!!
