It seems like I am always getting a new computer. Let me be clear. I have not had a "new" new computer since I got my laptop 7 years ago. That is forever in computer years. So, the laptop was amazing for quite a while, but then it just got too slow for storing, accessing and editing video files. So, my IT department (aka: hubby) gave me a different computer that he was no longer using. That computer never really adjusted to its new surroundings, and died a pitiful death last week. It was a prolonged illness that the computer just could not overcome. We said goodbye this morning.
Here I am, once again, with a "new" piece of equipment. And it is my only piece of equipment. Everything I do happens on one computer. If it doesn't work, I am rambling around the house, sweeping the floor and doing laundry, and not editing or marketing or networking or any of the things that could potentially make Small Wonder a success one day.
So, I say a little prayer that this computer will like it here, become accustomed to the sticky little fingers touching it, opening and closing the DVD drive, grabbing the mouse, repeatedly pushing the Ctrl key. I hope this computer will tolerate all the visits to websites like lego.com and starwars.com, and that it will handle the Avid with all its demands. If all that happens, maybe I will get back to blogging on a regular basis.

Oh, I hope so! Come on little computer...hang in there.
I predict GREAT things will be accomplished on this new piece of equipment. I can't wait to view the next "Movie Monday" video...
Oh boy -- that's a lot of things that one computer needs to do. I hope you got the super duper-est, fancy schmancy-est, most awesome-est computer ever made.
(Glad you're back in Blogland -- that was too long of a hiatus!)
